The transformer station type OTG1250-6/1-1, 2 is an electric supply device in explosion-proof and can be installed in underground mining headings, methane and non methane with methane hazard grade: „a”, „b”, „c” and in headings with class „A” i „B” coal dust explosion hazard. The station is designed in accordance with the requirements of Directive 94/9/WE (ATEX). Applied security and adopted system of control and cooperation with technological blocks using intrinsically safe circuits, allow safe cooperation with the devices supplying mining machines.
The enclosure of station consists of chambers: an upper voltage divided at the connecting part, and the disconnecting contractor, the main chamber in which the transformer and the low voltage compartment, divided into part comprising a protection and control systems and a connecting part enabling connecting 4 drains.
